What I always have in my mind when I interview for a job (and here in the Silly-Con Valley that happens often) is that I will soon be working and maybe even having lunch with the person interviewing me. I makes me less up tight.
The two worst questions are “Tell me about yourself” and “What do you consider your greatest weakness.” In telling about yourself, be modest TO A DEGREE, but you are doing a SALES JOB….you are selling a product and the product is yourself… A good answer is “I consider myself to be pretty responsible as a person, and I really love to take care of customers.” As far as weaknesses, always try to give and answer that is a strength presented as a weakness. An example is, “Well, I tend to take my job so seriously some times that I totally immerse myself in it.”
