Aviation Operations Specialist: Smooth Trasition from Army to Civilian job?

I am currently in the Active Army and wanting to re-enlist as an Aviation Operations Specialist. This question is more for civilians working this related job or veterans that went from this job in the military to the civilian world. Will I be able to have enough certification and experience to land a good job as an aviation operations specialist outside of the army? Do they like ex-army? Would I need any other experience/certification to easily get a job after working, say, 5-6 years in this MOS as a soldier? Please only detailed answers relevant. Thank you!!!
