I need to interview at least 25 programming teachers from any college (ex. ACLC, etc.) or univ (ex. AMA Univ, UP, etc.).
The purposes of the interview are:
1. To determine the best methods used by the teachers in order to make the students learn, with less difficulty, the complexity of a programming language.
2. To acknowledge the current trend of teaching computer programming in the Philippines. This is for us to become aware of the trend, especially of its effectiveness in the IT sector of the country.
3. To ascertain if there are areas that should be improved in the instruction of programming-related subjects This is for us to be able to know if the software we are developing can be a tool for educational development.
4. To find out if the feasibility of our tutorial software, which teaches the basic programming of C with Taglish (combination of Tagalog and English) as its medium of instruction, is realizable.
If you want to be interviewed during your free time, pls email me.
Based on my experience, you will get little or no response from this posting.
You best bet is to go to the teachers room of school and ask them nicely if you can interview them for five minutes for a school project. I believe many ( but not all ) will accomodate you.
Try AMA first – since there will be many computer programming teachers.
Wear you school Id prominently. Remember only ONE person should ask the questions. The person asking the question should NOT take note and be alert in putting follow-up questions. Other group members should take notes.
Have a nice day !
the nice guy above me is right! to get more subjects for your reseach, you need to go out there and interview students and teachers. good luck.
